BMW X3 review









The X3 2.5i is motorized by a 184-horsepower 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine. The X3 3.0i sports a 225-horsepower 3.0-liter inline-6. Both are ready with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive method.
Introduction
TheBMW X3 enters its second year of manufacture redden with victory. In its first year, the X3 sold almost as well as the larger X5, doubling BMW's impact on the SUV market. The 2005 BMW X3 gets a number of refinements and upgrade even though minimal increases in standerd price.
The X3's drive train is prepared with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system, Dynamic Stability Control and Hill Descent Control, all planned to give it firm grip and secure control in less than favorable surroundings. BMW's near-luxury sport-utility is available with two versions of the company's verified six-cylinder engine.
